A native of Southington, CT, Kyle played goalie all four years for the Blue Knights earning all conference honors his senior year, as well as, being picked to the North/South Connecticut Senior All Star game where he earned the MVP trophy for the north.
After High School, Kyle began his collegiate career at Eastern Connecticut State University, where he started every game of his four year career. At the end of his freshman season, Kyle was named Little East Conference Rookie of the year and then went on to earn all conference honors each of his four seasons. His senior season, Kyle was named to the NEILA East/West Senior All Star game. With his help, Eastern Connecticut won three Little East Conference regular season titles and two LEC Championships. Kyle holds school records in; minutes played(3923), starts (70), wins (45), saves in a game (25) saves in a season (225), and saves in a career (829). Additionally, he sits 12th all time in D3 history for saves in a career.
Kyle just finished his first year of coaching, as an Assistant Coach at Eastern Connecticut State University, where his primary focus was goaltending and defense.
