SOUTHEAST GOLD
Chris Landry is the head of the coach of the Waterford Lancers. Coach Landry’s coaching career began in 2000, serving as an assistant coach at Oneonta State (NY) followed by 2 years at Springfield College (MA) before becoming the head coach at Mitchell Colleges. Coach Landry has been working summer lacrosse camps since 1996. Coach Landry is involved in the Connecticut Cardinals Fall Lacrosse program based out of Wesleyan University. As well, Coach is involved with the Southeastern Connecticut Select Summer Team. Coach Landry runs a summer lacrosse clinic out of Waterford for boys and girls grades two-eight.
Landry, an attackmen at Springfield College was awarded as conference player-of-the-year and New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Star first team selection. As well, Landry participated in the New England East-West All-Star game as well as the USILA Division III North-South All Star game. Coach Landry, a native of South Hadley, Massachusetts was selected as a High School All-American in his senior season. Landry received his Bachelors degree in Physical Education and his Masters degree in Athletic Administration both from Springfield College.
Coach Landry is currently a Physical Education Teacher at Waterford High School in Waterford. Coach lives in Waterford with his wife Beth and kids C.J. and Chloe. |
